Filtering/Blocking Works in the Merlin AO3 Tag (Using Tag ID Numbers)

Summary

This is a guide on filtering fanworks in the "Merlin (TV)" fandom on AO3, particularly for the sake of saving filters according to your individual preferences.
This includes a list of tag ID numbers for notable tags under the Merlin fandom tag. That way, you can filter and search by tag IDs rather than tag names, and thus preempt the possibility of losing your filters if a tag name changes.

I am unlikely to assemble a comprehensive list anytime soon, because that would be rather tedious, and users can easily seek out tag IDs for individual tags they are interested in filtering by. My thoughts: It's impressive on its own to believably combine Merlin characters with Arthurian characters from The Librarians. This story does it with care. It takes place mostly in the Library, with flashbacks to Camelot. It covers a bit about Galahad's place in Camelot and his relationship with his father.

Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings; I would warn for temporary character death, minor character death, and canon-typical violence, as well as noting that this is a rewrite of Doctor Who s04e10 Midnight, which is a bit of an unsettling episode.

Other info: A rewrite of Doctor Who s04e10 "Midnight," where Jethro Cane (who was played by Colin Morgan) is actually an immortal Merlin, and Arthur is on the planet Midnight as well.
My thoughts: The dynamic between the Doctor and Merlin is really interesting here, but I thought the fic really shined with its portrayals of Donna and Arthur. I loved seeing how their skills and problem-solving abilities got to be put to use here. There are also some interesting notes on Merlin's immortality, his relationship with magic in a wider universe than just Earth, and his relationship with time given his canon powers of slowing time.

My thoughts: The characterization of an immortal Merlin here was really well done. He's absurdly powerful, impossibly cheerful, and retains his sense of humor, but the sadness and loss he has experienced is not dismissed.
